Brands I Love!

Brands I Love!

This month I wanted to give a shout out to some brands I love. They are all -

  • really creative!
  • female owned
  • offer online shopping/services

I've included links to all of their website so they will be easy for you to find, enjoying browsing!

Studio Folklore

Studio Folklore is just down the road from my studio, it's part of the San Fernando market, in the heart of Lavapiés, one of the most iconic and picturesque neighbourhoods in Madrid.

The space is an oasis surrounded by the classic stalls of a neighbourhood market and in it, natural textiles are dyed by hand with botanical extracts, seasonal plants and some remains that they recover from neighbouring supplies.

The lovely Paola McKenna is the maker behind this brand and she produces some beautiful accessories.

Don't Kill My Vibe

Don't Kill My Vibe is the love-child of two Dublin based fashion designers and two of my great mates, Ciara & Niamh. They describe their style as 'If Fleetwood Mac and Tupac did a duet ...' They are dedicated to designing both the badass and the beautiful for the badass and the beautiful.
Their base material is recycled brass, all their packaging is recyclable & plastic free uncoated cardboard boxes, no plastic sponges.
